In human years I'm in the "terrible 2s"

People learn by doing, so don't I.
Some times its learning what not to do.
I think Will and I learned the same lesson.

We had some visitor last month, my cousin Emmy from
Florida came a spent a couple of weeks. You remember,
she's the one that got me the glove contract. And you know
what, I wasn't the little one this time. Cousin Holly, and Milo
were so much bigger than me, but with Emmy I'm the big dog.
Didn't mean that I got away with much though, what she lacks in
size, she makes up for with toughness.  Anyways, here are some
action shots of us at play. Don't know if we were that fast or
the photographer is just that bad, but he could never seem to get
all of us in the shot.  Good help is hard to find.

Remember the pool and the blue tarp and how cool I thought
the slip and slide was? Well it is 10 times better with the cover off,
and the water warmed up.

Something new every day

Man oh man I sure have a big family. Cousin Milo spent spring break with us. He's another big Texas boy, who is as strong as an ox. As you can see, I had no chance in this tug of war match,  but it was fun trying.

As you can see in the above photo, the owners cover the pool while the oaks trees shed their leaves.
It cuts out the swimming, but that big blue tarp sure make a fine slip-n-slide. But I'm so fast no one has been able to capture it on film. You'll just have to believe me when I say it is hilarious.

One thing that Milo and I have in common with my other cousin Holly is, - we play hard, but we rest even harder.

Here we are just hanging out on Milo's bed. Thought that was strange that he would bring his own bed, but after sleeping on it a few times, man was it comfortable. After he left I asked the owners to please get me one too.

I know it's not part of the real spring training program, but I have this toy de-gutting down pat.
I can rip the stuffing out of most any toy in less than a minute. I can also eat eye glasses really well, but I don't think that we should go there. The owners were not impressed. Something about "IS THAT YOURS" was spoken over and over.

The other day one of the owners was doing some work out behind the ballpark, I think he called it a compost pile. Well I tell you what, after a couple quick trips on the slip-n-slide (still to fast for a photo)
and some nice soft soil, you can get very muddy in a hurry. I am telling you this because,  I now have had my first bath.

I didn't take to it at first, and I heard the owner complaining about who got wetter, him or me. But I think I like the water more and more.

As I told you earlier, I asked for a new bed, and the owners came through. They keep saying something about a spoiled little puppy, but you can never have to much stuff.

I keep hearing about this Easter bunny. Not sure what it's all about, but the eyes sure are tasty.

And last of all a couple of artsy fartsy pictures the own took

busy couple of weeks

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, but it has been crazy busy here.

First I need to tell you about my glove contract. I must be doing something right
because I now get free baseball gloves. I guess it helps that my cousin Emmy is the
factory rep, but she sends me free gloves in the mail. Here I am with my first freebee.

Then last weekend we took our first road trip. We went to someplace called Bid-D.
There sure are a lot of strange things in that town. First of all they have trainers just
my size. This one seems kind of young, but he sure was friendly, and we did the stairs
together a lot.

But even stranger was the size of the other guys. There were 2 or three times as big as me.
They said this girl was another cousin. Man they sure grow them big in Texas.

But we had a great time running and shagging balls. We even did something called hunter up. Has something to do with diving into the bushes. Not sure why, but cuz sure liked to do it.

The one thing that seems to be the same no matter where I go is the relaxing after a good workout

Trainer Chris and I love laying around in the sun.

Trainer Joel

I had a new trainer stop by today,
his name was Joel. He tried to teach me to
be more ferocious. Here I am in action

I ripped the stuffing right out of this toy

See - toy guts hanging from my lips.
How much more ferocious can you get

Man that was tiring.
Nap time.

From the beginning

Hello, my name is Molly, and I am starting this blog so my friends and family
can keep up with me as I grow from puppy to a beautiful adult Labrador.

So far my life has been broken into 2 parts. My first life started with my mom
and 7 brothers & sisters. This picture was taken when we were about 4 weeks old.

Then when I turned 7 weeks old I was either drafted or traded to the
Spauldings, I'm not sure which. They seem like a pretty good organization,
so I guess I will do my spring training here with them.

Right now all we are doing is exercising and stretching. Just warming up

Here I am working with one of the trainers.

After a hard day of working out I like to come home and just "chill"

As you can tell, I really have this relaxing thing down.
